These Business Listing Terms apply to anyone who submits a business, claims a listing, manages an approved listing, creates a deal, uploads business media, or purchases a business-related BahaRoam service when paid features become available.
1. Authority to act for the business
By claiming or managing a listing, you confirm that you are the owner, an authorized employee, or another person with permission to act for the business. BahaRoam may request reasonable verification before approving or maintaining control of a listing.
2. Accurate listing information
You are responsible for keeping business information accurate and reasonably current, including the business name, category, island, area, address, contact information, website, social media, hours, description, services, and other submitted details.
3. Photos, logos, and content rights
You may upload only content you own or are authorized to use. By submitting business content, you grant BahaRoam a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, resize, format, display, and promote that content for purposes connected with the BahaRoam platform and the business listing. You remain responsible for obtaining permissions from photographers, designers, employees, customers, or other rights holders where needed.
4. Deals and offers
A business that posts a deal must clearly and accurately state the offer, material restrictions, relevant dates, and any eligibility requirements. Businesses are responsible for honoring valid offers they publish through BahaRoam, subject to the stated terms and applicable law. Misleading, unavailable, unlawful, or bait-and-switch offers may be removed.
5. Reviews
Businesses may report reviews that violate the Review Guidelines, but may not demand removal merely because a review is critical. Businesses, employees, family members, agents, or contractors must not create fake customer reviews or manipulate ratings.
6. Listing status and moderation
BahaRoam may approve, reject, correct, suspend, unfeature, or remove a listing or deal where reasonably necessary because of inaccurate information, closure, ownership disputes, policy violations, safety concerns, legal requirements, fraud, or platform integrity. BahaRoam may also transfer listing control when a better-supported ownership claim is approved.
7. BahaRoam Score and featured placement
A BahaRoam Score or featured placement does not constitute a guarantee or certification of a business. Score methodology and eligibility may change. Sponsored or paid visibility, if introduced, should be identified in a way that is reasonably clear to users and will not give a business the right to manipulate customer reviews.
8. Free and paid plans
BahaRoam may offer free and paid business features. Current planned options may include a free Starter level, a Pro subscription, and temporary Boost placement. No paid plan is effective until the applicable price, billing terms, included features, renewal rules, cancellation process, and refund policy are clearly presented at checkout or in an order agreement.
9. Payment terms will be added before card checkout
BahaRoam does not currently rely on these Business Listing Terms alone for card payments. Before accepting paid subscriptions, Boost purchases, or other card transactions, BahaRoam will publish or present specific payment terms covering charges, taxes where applicable, renewals, cancellation, failed payments, refunds, and billing disputes.
10. Compliance with law
Businesses are responsible for their own licences, permits, taxes, consumer obligations, advertising claims, safety requirements, employment obligations, intellectual-property permissions, and other legal requirements applicable to their operations. Listing on BahaRoam does not mean that BahaRoam has independently verified every legal requirement.
11. Business-to-customer disputes
Unless BahaRoam expressly acts as seller or payment merchant for a transaction, the business and customer are responsible for resolving disputes concerning the business’s goods, services, bookings, fulfillment, refunds, or warranties. BahaRoam may assist with platform-related reports but is not automatically a party to the underlying transaction.
12. Termination of listing access
A business may request that an owned listing be corrected or removed, subject to legitimate recordkeeping needs. BahaRoam may suspend owner access or listing privileges for serious or repeated violations. Public factual references to a business may sometimes remain where lawful and appropriate even if owner-management access ends.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Business Listing Terms as BahaRoam adds features. Material changes will be reflected by a revised effective date and, where appropriate, notice to affected business users.
