1. What BahaRoam does

BahaRoam is a discovery and information platform for businesses, deals, services, events, and experiences in The Bahamas. Unless a page expressly says otherwise, BahaRoam is not the seller, tour operator, restaurant, merchant, employer, transportation provider, or other provider of the third-party goods or services shown on the platform.

At the date of these Terms, BahaRoam does not provide a general card checkout for third-party purchases. If payment processing, paid subscriptions, or purchases are added, additional payment, cancellation, and refund terms may apply and these Terms will be updated as needed.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• Provide accurate information when creating or using an account.
• Keep your login credentials secure and do not share an account in a way that creates unauthorized access.
• You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized use.
• If you are not legally able to accept these Terms on your own, use account or contractual features only with a parent, guardian, or other legally authorized person.

3. Business information and availability

We work to keep listings useful and accurate, but business hours, prices, offers, availability, menus, services, locations, contact details, and other information can change. Users should confirm important details directly with the business before traveling, purchasing, booking, or relying on a listing.

4. Deals and promotions

Businesses are responsible for the accuracy, availability, eligibility requirements, expiration dates, exclusions, and fulfillment of their own deals unless BahaRoam expressly states that it is the seller. BahaRoam may remove a deal that appears inaccurate, expired, unlawful, misleading, or inconsistent with our policies.

5. Reviews and user content

If you submit a review, image, description, correction, or other content, you must have the right to submit it and must follow the Review Guidelines and these Terms. You keep ownership of your content, but you give BahaRoam a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, moderate, display, and distribute it as needed to operate and promote the BahaRoam service. This license ends when the content is deleted from our active service, except for reasonable backups, legal records, or materials already lawfully shared or published.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use BahaRoam to:

• Post false, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, threatening, harassing, hateful, obscene, or unlawful content.
• Create fake reviews, manipulate ratings, impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent your relationship with a business.
• Upload content you do not have permission to use, including copyrighted photos, logos, text, or other protected material.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, administrative areas, or systems without authorization.
• Interfere with the operation or security of the service, introduce malicious code, scrape at unreasonable scale, or use automated systems in a way that harms the service or other users.
• Use BahaRoam for unlawful discrimination, scams, spam, or other abusive conduct.

7. Moderation and enforcement

BahaRoam may review, approve, reject, hide, suspend, correct, or remove listings, claims, reviews, deals, accounts, or other content when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce policies, respond to legal requests, correct errors, or preserve platform quality. We are not required to publish every submission.

8. Intellectual property

The BahaRoam name, site design, software, original graphics, text, scoring presentation, and other original BahaRoam materials are owned by or licensed to BahaRoam and are protected by applicable law. Third-party business names, logos, photos, and marks remain the property of their respective owners.

9. BahaRoam Score

The BahaRoam Score is an informational platform feature intended to help users discover businesses. Its inputs, weighting, and presentation may change. It is not a guarantee of quality, safety, availability, legality, or a particular customer experience. Businesses may contact us to report factual errors affecting their profile.

10. Third-party services

Links and contact actions may take you to maps, messaging services, websites, social platforms, or other third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.

11. Disclaimers

BahaRoam is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that all content is complete, current, error-free, continuously available, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or protections that applicable consumer law does not allow us to exclude.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, BahaRoam will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the service or from dealings with third-party businesses. Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Indemnity for business and content submissions

If you submit content or act on behalf of a business, you agree, to the extent permitted by law, to be responsible for claims arising from your unauthorized, unlawful, or misleading submissions or your violation of these Terms.

14. Changes and availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms. Material updates will be shown by a revised effective date and, where appropriate, additional notice.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, without limiting any mandatory rights that may apply to a user. Subject to applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms or BahaRoam may be brought before the courts of The Bahamas.
